DIY - Vase of hairbands

Estimated time: 3 hours or more (maybe less)    Cost: N/A

Supplies:

-- Styrofoam

-- Vase

-- Hot glue gun

-- Colorful hair bands (optional)

-- Scissors

Steps:

1. Have all the supplies you'll need in front of you.

2. Hot glue the bottom of vase on top of the styrofoam.

3. Cut hair band and fold strips on top of each other while hot gluing (so it doesn't fall apart).

4. Add as many hair bands as you want while continuing that process (you'll notice many of my circles have different hair bands in them).

5. When you're satisfied with all of your circles, start hot gluing them to the vase.

6. After that's done, cut into hair bands and start hot gluing them to the styrofoam at the bottom of the vase.

7. You're done!

This was my first DIY project and it was so much fun to create! I made it with my mom and it took us around 3-4 hours, I think. So, if you're going to create this solo it may take much longer, unless you're super fast. This was for my art project at school, but I've been inspired to start creating DIY projects as one of my new hobbies. I hope you're inspired too!
